STUDY FEE (2006)

Study fee for programmes by course by course work in Learning Centre

~ If an application is not successful, the US$100 Application Fee will be refunded. However, if an application is successful the Application Fee will count towards study fees.
~ The Study Fee, Learning Centre Administration Fee and KIUST Examination Fee per unit are due two weeks prior to the start date of each course/semester.
~ Students pay for the number of units they enroll for every semester. 
~ The cost of text books is not included in the above fees. 
~ Students with any outstanding fees will not be able to graduate until all outstanding fees are paid.


Study fee for programmes by research

Master Degree Study by Research: The total fee is US$ 4,680. This can be paid in 3 semesters at the rate of US$1,560 per semester. This fee includes the US$100 application fee. Being a research program, there are no individual unit fees, administration or examination fees. 

Doctorate Degree Study by Research: The total fee is US$ 7,998. This can be paid in 3 years at the rate of US$2,666 per year. However, students with the approval of KIUST can elect to pay this over a period of 6 semesters at the rate of US$1,333 per semester. Being a research program, there are no individual unit fees, administration or examination fees.
