ABMTR is founded by a visionary, Dr. Shaji Thomas, dedicated to Higher education and in specific a professional who has created successful Programmes in Business Management and Travel & Tourism. Dr. Shaji Thomas has brought together a set of highly dedicated and talented professionals from both the Corporate and Academia to make his vision a reality. The Institute is committed in transforming the capabilities of every student and providing them an opportunity to find their hidden talent while leveraging this capability to scale the heights of success in professional fronts in the market place.

To this extent, "The Council of Excellence" at ABMTR – a body has been formed to cater to this commitment and deliver to excel.

The ABMTR is managed by Two Bodies -

• The Advisory Council, consists of 21 Members representing the Academia and Industry

• The Board of Studies, consists of 11 Members representing the Academia and Industry
